Manulife Myanmar planted a thousand saplings towards greening our future planet.

Manulife Myanmar joined forces with its customers to plant one thousand saplings near the “Pan Pyo Lett” charity school in Bago city. Our goal was to sculpt a greener world and to protect and secure the future of Myanmar’s families. Alongside our three core messages “Manulife Myanmar Protects Your Families”, “Manulife Myanmar Protects the Environment” and “Manulife Myanmar Protects Future Generation”, we are working together to provide a better tomorrow for the community and the environment.

Manulife Myanmar launched the “Plant Your Future – Green, Greener, Greenest” campaign in February of this year, with the goal of planting a tree for every sale of a Manulife Protector life insurance policy. The campaign successfully concluded in May, resulting in one thousand trees being planted. The initiative aimed to promote the importance of environmental sustainability and encourage individuals to take an active role in protecting the planet for future generations.

Manulife Myanmar hosted a plantation event where participants, including employees, Insurance Advisors, customers, and their family members, planted a total of 1000 saplings, including bamboo, Parkia speciosa, and Jack fruit trees. Alongside tree planting, attendees also donated essential items for an orphanage and enjoyed the game activities.

The top ten Insurance Advisors who sold the highest number of policies during the campaign were recognized with the “Manulife Myanmar Green Ambassador Award”. One deserving individual was awarded the distinction and the following are the person who won the award respectively.
